14 Bible Verses For The Two-Week-Wait

If you aren’t familiar with the term “two-week-wait”, it is the time between ovulation and your expected period or otherwise potentially confirming pregnancy. Many women endure this wait with hope and expectancy, and at times feel loads of anxiety as they wait. This wait can be a rollercoaster of emotions and it can be tempting to let fear of the unknown grip our hearts. Each month that passed was challenging to say the least.

If you are all too familiar with this two-week-wait, my heart aches with you in your wait. I pray that the Lord gives you the desires of your heart and that you lean on Him solely in the midst of your waiting season. I pray that He fills you with a peace that blows your mind, regardless of what the result is after the weeks of holding your breath. I am praying fervently that every soul that reads these words and every family that is waiting for God to unfold His plans, that your hearts would not grow weary and that you’d remember that you are not alone in your wait. I pray that the gift that your heart desires does not become greater than your desire for the Giver of life. As God has tucked this dream into your heart, I pray that you’d trust Him in the wait.
